….heart so big and limbs so long. This is one spirit I adore. Consistent with her practice and brings lightness and ease to her space - whether that be at Studio Three or yogaview. And...she listens to instructions to "make a heart with the lifted hand," Me: not so much!
:: Why do you love the yoga practice? ::
"I love yoga simply because it FEELS good. I feel stronger and calmer on my yoga mat than anywhere else. Plus, there is nothing better than a side body stretch to combat sitting in front of a computer 40+ hours a week."
I cannot think of a single Tuesday night where I have not seen this dedicated yogi. Kevin Miller is so dedicated to his practice and when I asked him on his birthday ( June 18!) what he loves about his practice he responded: “I love everything about yoga.”
“ I love practicing yoga because it reminds me to stay present and curious. As a professional dancer, I need that presence of mind and curiosity to be able to fully explore and delve into movement. Instead of just going through the motions, I strive to make each movement feel authentic. I also use a lot of improvisation in my professional dance career, and practicing yoga definitely helps me capture that sense of willingness to investigate, to explore, to have fun.”
