I love a new week, especially when last week was FULL ON. I overcommitted myself, I made it to my mat only a few times, I did not show up for myself . I felt like I was a little hamster in a hamster wheel! So this week, EASIN UP + committing to ease, grace, restoration  and all sorts of softness this week. Not in my actual teaching schedule (teaching A LOT) but in the choices and spaces between.


Forward Folds: never liked them. Always would prefer the opposite-- the extension, the backbend. But balancing out both this week. I like to think of the fold as a deep inward scan of the body, mind + heart. And the hardest part for me? STAYING. Not letting external distractions get in the way.

Fold Forward. Go Inward. Inhale lightness.⁣⁣⁣ Exhale heaviness.⁣⁣⁣ Observe what you find. Connect to you. Discover pockets of presence. Pieces of peace. Embrace the mess. And Stay.
